Research Experience:

Research  Assistant                                                                   September 2014 to Present

•  Istanbul Technical University

•  Supervisor Ece Bayat, Ph.D

•  Grant Number: 213M367

•  My current research is on a project entitled “Dynamic Response of Sands Mitigated by Induced Partial Saturation under New and Existing Structures” which is a TÜBİTAK (The Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey) funded project. My part is to develop a model for testing partially saturated sands.

Research  Assistant                                                                    March 2013 to June 2014

•  Istanbul Technical University

•  Supervisor Mehmet Özger, Ph.D

•  Grant Number: 112M586

•  My previous research was on a project entitled “Wave Power Potential Assessment of Aegean Sea with 15-year Integrated Data” which was funded by TÜBİTAK. I used MIKE 21SW with 15 years of data from ECMWF, model calibration took place with considering 9 different wave buoy measurements. Results of calibration assured the model dependability and then Temporal and Spatial analyses were done.

Undergraduate Researcher                                                       September 2011 to December 2012

•  University of Tabriz

•  Supervisor: Esmaeil Esmaeilzadeh, Ph.D

•  This project was defined by our research group in B.Sc. and it was an experimental study on investigation of micro-droplet generation and jet column manipulation. Mostly, Electrohydrodynamics was employed as an active control and manipulation method. I took the duty of image processing and analysis on data.
